MEETING PLACE

Our congregation worships on Sunday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. We meet in the chapel at the Calvary Center for Community and Culture. When Sunday School is offered (September - May), snacktime follows the service downstairs in the fellowship hall. This is a wonderful time to get to know each other and our guests better. If you visit on a Sunday (usually the 1st Sunday of the month) when we are celebrating a fellowship meal together after the service, please stay and join us!

Enter the building through the double doors on the Baltimore Avenue side of the church.

Restrooms are on the lower level. There is no elevator in the building, though the Calvary Center is actively fundraising for handicapped accessibility renovations. If you have special needs and wish to attend a service or other event at WPMF, please contact the administrative assistant in advance.

Click here for more information about the John Jerry Greene Memorial Fund for Handicapped Accessibility at the Calvary Center.

Four congregations and nearly a dozen community and cultural organizations call The Calvary Center home. Calvary United Methodist Church has been worshipping on this corner for over 100 years and has welcomed other faith groups into its space: Grace Chapel Pentecostal Church, Kol Tzedek West Philadelphia Synagogue, and our congregation. Other programs and partners include Cedar Park Neighbors, Center for Literacy, Crossroads Music Series, Curio Theatre Company,
Ethiopian Oromo Christian Group, International Action Center, Girl Scout Troop, Prometheus Radio Project, 12-Step Programs, University City Historical Society, Martial Arts classes, and West Philly Food not Bombs
