Annual Church Retreat
Every spring the whole congregation is invited to a WPMF Church Retreat, held at Tel Hai Camp & Retreat in Honeybrook (PA). The retreat is held from Friday evening through Sunday lunch, and includes discussion of various topics, fun activities, and time for fellowship and intimate conversation. Sleeping options include cabins or the campground. Meals are provided. Carol Martin Johnson is the retreat coordinator.
The Pastoral Team has decided to cancel this year’s Church Retreat. This decision was made in consideration of the likely prolonged duration of the COVID-19 pandemic and the risk of contagion during social gatherings, and the likelihood that Tel-Hai or other facilities capable of hosting a retreat will be closed during the scheduled time of the retreat.
Men’s Retreat
WPMF will be holding its 2018 Men’s Retreat October 12-14. This retreat for men and boys (older than 12 years old) is an opportunity for learning, recreation and fellowship. We will have some reflection time on a theme (TBD), have time for recreation and conversation with the goal of building community and connection with each other. Information on how to register and more details about the retreat will be available later in the summer. Please come and join us. If you have questions, you can contact Ken Beidler.
The 2019 Men’s retreat is October 04-06
Women’s Retreat
The annual women’s retreat takes place in the fall at Tel Hai Camp & Retreat in Honeybrook (PA). All women, and girls 12 and older, are encouraged to participate. The retreat is planned by, and often led by, women of WPMF.
